Sungrow's PowerTitan 3.0 passes a full-scale burn with suppression switched off

In a UL Solutions large-scale fire test to the 2026 edition of UL 9540A and CSA/ANSI C800-2025, a container at 100% charge was forced into thermal runaway with suppression and cooling disabled; Sungrow says the fire didn't spread to neighboring containers or the medium-voltage substation over 7.5 hours. Large-scale test reports are now a real underwriting tool for battery spacing and maximum-loss estimates, and submissions should include them, along with proof that the site layout matches the tested setup.
