Gas cooler rupture starts fire on ONGC's Mumbai High NQG platform

A cooler tube on Process Gas Compressor C ruptured and the fire took more than an hour to control; no injuries, and reports differ on how long the platform was down. Compressor cooler tubes are a classic corrosion and fatigue weak point offshore, and tube inspection records are worth asking for on any platform submission.
